Low-Level Laser Therapy

What Causes Hair Loss
To understand why our laser procedure works, it helps to know why balding occurs. Most hair loss is caused by a simple process that occurs at the molecular level. Low-level laser hair therapy interferes with this process by keeping your hair and scalp healthy. 

The Hair Loss Cycle 
1) Testosterone is converted to Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) by the 5 Alpha Reductase (5AR) Enzyme. 
2) DHT attaches to androgen receptors on the hair follicle. 
3) DHT gradually miniaturizes the hair follicle, causing the hair to become thinner. 
4) The miniaturized hair follicle eventually dies, and hair loss occurs.
